We’ll focus on awareness, boundaries, and steady routines.
Progress happens when peace feels possible.
the experience of anxiety
You don’t have to feel this way forever.
Overthinking everything? Stuck in your head all day?
Maybe you’re constantly second-guessing yourself—your decisions, your relationships, your abilities. You’re trying so hard to keep it all together that your brain never seems to slow down. You lie awake at night replaying conversations, worrying about things out of your control, or trying to anticipate what might go wrong next.
Even when everything looks “fine” on the outside, you feel stuck or overwhelmed inside. You might be juggling a demanding job, caring for others, or trying to meet expectations that never seem to let up. And it’s exhausting.
The worst part? You’ve gotten so good at pushing through that people around you don’t even realize how anxious you are. But deep down, you know something needs to change.
Why Anxiety Feels So Heavy
It makes sense that you're overwhelmed.
Anxiety is often invisible—but its effects are very real. It can show up as:
Racing thoughts or difficulty sleeping
Perfectionism or fear of making mistakes
Feeling constantly tense or “on edge”
Trouble focusing or relaxing
Overanalyzing conversations or interactions
Exhaustion or irritability from trying to do it all
Maybe you’ve told yourself, “Everyone’s stressed. I should be able to handle this,” or “I just need to try harder.”
But anxiety isn’t about effort or weakness—it’s a signal that something deeper needs care, not criticism.
The Shift: Finding Calm and Clarity
Imagine feeling clear, calm, and in control again.
What if you could move through your day without constant overthinking or fear of messing up?
What if you could breathe easier—mentally and physically—and give yourself permission to slow down, say no, or change your mind without guilt?
Therapy won’t erase anxiety completely, but it can help you build tools and practices that quiet the noise.
Together, we’ll help you reconnect with your values, set boundaries that feel good, and move forward in a way that feels empowering—not pressured.
how I can help
An approach that meets you where you are.
Hi, I’m Diane—a Licensed Clinical Social Worker offering virtual therapy across Washington, Idaho, Utah, and Montana.
My clients are often smart, capable women who appear “fine” on the outside but feel like they’re barely holding it together inside. They’re navigating anxiety, burnout, ADHD, or career stress—and just need a place to be honest, unpack what’s going on, and start making sustainable changes.
In our work together, I blend evidence-based approaches like CBT and ACT with practical tools for work, relationships, and daily life. You don’t need a therapy dictionary to feel supported—we’ll talk like real people and move at your pace.
When helpful, I also integrate career and personality assessments (like the MBTI® or WOWI®) to better understand how your strengths, stress patterns, and work style fit into your life.
This isn’t just therapy—it’s a space to reconnect with your clarity, confidence, and sense of self.
Common Questions
You might be wondering…
“What if I don’t have time?”
That’s the beauty of virtual therapy. No commute, no waiting room. Just show up from wherever you feel safe—your couch, your car, your office—on a schedule that works for you.
“What if I’m not sure therapy will help?”
That’s okay. You don’t have to be sure. I offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can talk—no pressure. You can ask questions, share what you’re looking for, and see whether this feels like a good fit.
“What if I don’t live in one of your licensed states?”
If you’re outside WA, ID, UT, or MT, I invite you to explore my self-guided tools—ebooks and worksheets designed to support your mental wellness wherever you are.
